Abstract

The paper examines the main problems of operation of modern supersonic civil aviation as a complex and multifactorial challenge. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of technical, economic, environmental, and operational limitations that hinder the widespread implementation of supersonic passenger aircraft. Special emphasis is placed on high fuel consumption, aerodynamic heating, and structural requirements, as well as environmental concerns such as noise impact and atmospheric emissions. The influence of aerodrome infrastructure and human factors on operational safety is also analyzed. A comprehensive approach combining engineering innovations, environmental considerations, and regulatory measures is essential for the sustainable development and future implementation of supersonic civil aviation.
