| Abstract: | This article examines the systemic transformation of airline management through the integration of cross-functional optimization processes. In the highly volatile and competitive aviation market of 2026, operational efficiency is no longer just an economic metric but a critical component of flight safety and business resilience. The research explores the shift from traditional reactive management to a proactive paradigm based on the process approach mandated by ICAO Doc 9859 standards. Central to this study is the analysis of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) as tools to increase fleet availability and reduce unplanned ground time. The authors delve into the application of Big Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for flight scheduling, crew rotation, and revenue management, highlighting how automated decision-support systems minimize the impact of external disruptions. Significant attention is devoted to Fuel Efficiency Programs, where the optimization of flight trajectories and economic cruising regimes leads to substantial reductions in carbon footprints and operational costs. Furthermore, the paper substantiates the role of comprehensive digitalization, such as Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) and integrateddata environments, in eliminating departmental silos and ensuring real-time information transparency. The study concludes that systemic optimization acts as a fundamental catalyst for sustainable development, allowing airlines to harmonize technical reliability with commercial profitability in a rapidly evolving global ecosystem. |
