| Abstract: | Effective organizational support and air traffic management (ATM) are essential for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of modern aviation. The growing density of air traffic and the integration of new technologies require the transition to advanced CNS/ATM systems, including ADS-B, PBN, and CPDLC, representing a fundamental shift from legacy ground-based radio aids to high-precision satellite technologies. Digital platforms such as ATFM and network-centric coordination systems improve traffic flow predictability and reduce sector overload. Human-factor-oriented approaches, including simulation-based training and TRM practices, strengthen situational awareness and reduce operational risks. The integration of unmanned aircraft systems through U-Space and UTM frameworks represents a new challenge for ATM modernization. The implementation of Trajectory - Based Operations (TBO) further enhances efficiency by enabling precise 4D trajectory management, which potentially reduces average flight times by up to 5% and significantly lowers CO₂emissions. According to Eurocontrol estimates, the comprehensive deployment of these digital solutions can decrease flight delays by 10-15% through route optimization. Ultimately, a multifaceted modernization strategy significantly improves airspace capacity, operational reliability, and the overall performance of the global aviation system in the face of increasing traffic demands. |
